Our All-Natural Beeswax & Fair-trade, Organic Coconut Oil wood butter blend has an amazingly sweet coconut aroma with subtle hints of a sweet honey fragrance. When I am using this wood butter on our own cutting boards...i feel like I'm on a tropical island ♥
This wood paste penetrates into the wood grain, helping to lock moisture into the wood while leaving a smooth and velvety surface. Conditioning your board with our natural beeswax and coconut oil paste also leaves your hands feeling incredibly soft and moisturized.
Comes in a food-grade, 2 oz. (60ml) screw top tin container with tamper proof band.
A little goes a long way--this container will last through many many uses!

We use natural coconut oil as it is one of the more shelf-stable natural oils we have available, where other vegetable oils (olive oil, canola oil etc.) will tend to turn rancid (with a foul odor) over time.

Our Wood conditioning pastes work on all types of kitchen woodware; wooden bowls, wood & bamboo cutting boards, wooden spoons, wooden utensils, and wooden trays... to name a few.
D I R E C T I O N S :
To maintain the supple board finish; we recommend resealing with an oil or beeswax oil blend every few uses. Resealing your board is easy with our ready-made beeswax wood conditioners!
♦When your board becomes lighter in color and feels 'dry' to the touch, that's when you know it's time to re-season your board.
Simply rub a small amount of your Wood Butter Conditioning Paste onto your clean, dry board with the grain of the wood...with your fingers or a clean rag....and let soak in for a few minutes. Any excess should be buffed off with a clean rag, in the direction of the grain of the wood, until the board has a smooth sheen. This wood conditioning treatment helps prevent staining, cracking, and food odor absorption.
